Treasures of Nature
Educational Competition
The competition "Treasures of Nature in our region based on the European Ecological Natura 2000 Network" is a part of Skarby Natury (Treasures of Nature) project. This competition is to raise interest among young people on the fields of ecology and nature, with special emphasis on European Natura 2000 Network. We intend to make all the users of our website familiar with EU initiatives concerning environmental protection.
Students from primary schools, secondary schools and high schools working under the supervision of their teachers, are to create their own descriptions of chosen treasures of nature in their region and enrich them with photographs, movies or sound recordings.
All works fulfilling formal requirements will be published on our website and the most interesting and professionally prepared presentations will be rewarded.
After the competition is over Treasures of Nature website will remain an educational and information service providing access to multimedia information about Polish Nature.
We invite to cooperate with us:
- primary schools,
- grammar schools,
- secondary schools,
- ecological education centres,
- everyone, who finds our project interesting.
