Roztocze National Park lies in the central-east part of Poland, and encompasses the most naturally valuable parts of Central Roztocze. The Park was founded in 1974 over the area of 4,801 ha.
Nine different bat species have found their home in the abandoned pits of former sandstone mine in Senderki.
