The area is situated in the mesoregion of Roztocze Srodkowe in the eastern part of a forest complex extending between Jozefow and Krasnobrod. Characteristic feature of the site are numerous ravines. The name of the site comes from the shrine of Saint Roch which is located here. more »

Roztocze National Park lies in the central-east part of Poland, and encompasses the most naturally valuable parts of Central Roztocze. The Park was founded in 1974 over the area of 4,801 ha.
