The area is situated in the southern part of Wynioslosc Gielczewska (Gielczew Elevation), a subregion of Wyzyna Lubelska (Lublin Upland). Chmiel covers the area of 0,3 km2, which is completely overgrown by forest. No water courses or water reservoirs occur in the site. more »

Roztocze National Park lies in the central-east part of Poland, and encompasses the most naturally valuable parts of Central Roztocze. The Park was founded in 1974 over the area of 4,801 ha.
