Primeval forest, huge spruces and oaks of Puszcza Bialowieska, thick undergrowth where birds find their shelter. One can hear rapid drumming sound of woodpecker, tireless song thrush and a well hidden wryneck.

A small river Lutownia flows across Bialowieza Primeval Forest. Hundreds of years ago a mansion for king Zygmunt August was built on the bank of the river. Today visitors to this spot can often hear the calling of cranes.
