The landscape of Narwianskie Bagna is unique in European scale. Narew river creates here a labyrinth of many connecting and diverging riverbeds, and the whole are is occupied mainly by rushes' gatherings. Marshes are important refuge of water-boggy birds, which over 200 were stated here. Narwianskie Bagna are the Site of Community Importance within European Natura 2000 Network. The marshes occupy wide valley of upper Narew (podlaskie voivodeship) between: Suraz place (in the south) and Rzedziany place (in the north). The refuge encompasses the are of 7350 ha. more »
