You can get to Duszniki by bus or by train from Wroclaw to Klodzko - and then by bus to Kudowa Zdroj. If you travel by car you should take international road E-67 Wroclaw-Kudowa.

Remember - when on the peat bog one must keep to marked and secured paths and roads. Entering the peat bog in any other place may lead to drowning!

After passing Zieleniec you should turn left, down to Duszniki Zdroj. Going down about 1 km you will reach a bus stop by a little bridge over a stream. There is first information board about the educational path. Than you should walk along a green trail. Follow the signs and you will reach a beginning of the educational path.

Peatbog near Zieleniec, although it is called "near Zieleniec", is in fact located up in the mountains. An altitude of 750 m. a.s.l. and mountain surrounding determines a climate and lay of the land. The best season for sightseeing is spring - in June, and autumn - in October.

Both in spring and in autumn you should wear comfortable clothes, a fleece jacket is recommended. Equipment should also include solid boots - preferably trekking ones and a waterproof jacket. Chilly persons should consider taking a cap and gloves. Even in summer, especially in the morning, temperature may be low (3-5ºC). A map, a thermos flask and sandwiches will also do.

You must take a camera. Landscape of the peat bog is so exotic that a few snaps of such place will be a great souvenir. To sum up, this is a beautiful, wild place which guarantees interesting experience. Almost 8000 years of history make impression.
