A train from Walbrzych to Ciechanowice runs less than an hour. From Jelenia Gora the journey is even shorter - it lasts less than half an hour.
Motorized tourists can expect beautiful views during a car trip. The most comfortable route leads to Bolkowo by road E65. Those who like admiring beautiful landscapes should go as far as to Kowarska Pass.
Area of Rudawy is covered with fine network of touristic paths, on which there are many youth hostles.
A place worth visiting is nearby Karpniki - an old village from the 13th century which lies at the feet of the Krzyzna Mountain. It is famous mostly for a castle from the 15th century, surrounded by a beautiful park. There is also an interesting St. Jadwiga's church - initially gothic, later renaissance.
