Piekielna Dolina kolo Polanica city is located in Klodzko valley and it encompasses area of 1,1 square kilometers. The site contains Bystrzyca valley, it borders with Piekielna mountain from the north, and with Wolarz mountain massif from the south. Piekielna Dolina refuge is a Site of Community Importance within European Network Natura 2000. Rare species of vegetation have their own stands here, like: Karpaty type of downy birch (Betula pubescens) and also unique bryophyte slender green feather-moss (Drepanocladus vernicosus). more »

The Gory Stolowe National Park covers the Polish part of the Stolowe Mountains, which belong the Middle Sudety range. The Park is located in the south-western Poland, on the border with the Czech Republic and was established in 1993.
