The refuge is located in dolnoslaskie voivodeship, on the area of Lwowek Slaski commune. The landscape is enriched by sandstone rocks rising over the Bobr valley. The site is overgrown by deciduous forests in 60%, the rest are inland rocks, screes, sandstones and glaciers. more »

Karkonosze National Park

The Karkonosze National Park was established in 1959 to include an area of 5,510 ha. Since 1992 the Karkonosze National Park has been included into the Bilateral Biosphere Reserve Karkonosze/Krkonoše (MaB) which covers over 60,000 ha.

Nature reserve Torfowisko pod Zielencem covers the area of two peatbogs – Topielisko and Czarne Bloto.
