Panienskie Skaly is one of the two locations in Poland, where an endangered and strictly protected Killarney Fern can be found.  

In the area of Skalki Stoleckie four species of Mediterranean insects hale been noted, among them the Wall-Bee.  

Karkonosze are the highest ridge in Sudety Mountains. The highest peak being Sniezka (1602m asl).  

Nature reserve Torfowisko pod Zielencem covers the area of two peatbogs – Topielisko and Czarne Bloto.  

In 1965 a nature reserve was established to protect the unique fauna of Skalki Stoleckie.
