Bats in a church

The church in Konradowo is one of a few bat breeding locations in Poland.

Bats inhabit the tower and the attick of the church. Most numerous breeding colony of 200-300 bats, is that of Greater Mouse-eared Bat.

Karkonosze National Park

The Karkonosze National Park was established in 1959 to include an area of 5,510 ha. Since 1992 the Karkonosze National Park has been included into the Bilateral Biosphere Reserve Karkonosze/Krkonoše (MaB) which covers over 60,000 ha.

Panienskie Skaly is one of the two locations in Poland, where an endangered and strictly protected Killarney Fern can be found.
