The site includes 8 shallow (0.7-6.6m), eutrophic lakes ranging from 0.7 to 256.3 ha in area, with adjacent fens and transition mires. There are also small hills used as agricultural land, a moraine rampart with the helmet of Ostrówek and the northern part of the Cretaceous-Tertiary culmination (named Guz Garbatówki).
