Romincka Forest is a compact forest complex with unique flora. Spruce forests, growing on moorlands have tipically northern character. They remind of Tajga forests. Name of the forest comes form the old Prussian name of the river Rominta. Today the river is known as Bledzianka. In order to preserve unique landscape Romincka Forest was taken under protection and  in 1998 Landscape park was established. Within the park there are six reserves. more »
