Puszcza Bieniszewska is a dense complex of fertile deciduous woods, mostly well preserved and strongly diverse. We meet here oak-hornbeam, alluvial forests, acidophilous oak woods and Euro-Siberian steppic woods with Quercus spp. Puszcza Bieniszewska is precious floristic refuge - population of rare orchid, yellow widelip orchid grows here. This is also valuable reservoir of genes in the landscape subjected to strong influences of human activity. There are three eutrophic water reservoirs on the area of the forest. more »
