Ostoja Wielkopolska is the area of great diversity of land's lay and nature environment - there are 19 habitats from Appendix I of Habitat Directive. Beaver and otter are more interesting animals, that we can find here. Beautifully growing plants like: Gladiolus imbricatus, globe-flower, martagon, marsh helleborine draw attention here. Ostoja Wielkopolska is the Site of Community Importance of 10048.4 ha. The diverse relief of the area, heterogeneous water relations and location near the big city, made that site a mosaic of habitats. more »
