Nietoperek reserve is an extensive underground network of fortifications, raised by Nazis, with the 30 km of total length of tunnels. There is the bats' colony the biggest in central Europe. There is even 30 000 individuals from 12 species hibernating here in winter. The Nietoperek refuge is the Site of Community Importance.
