The Jeziorka Chosnickie refuge is one of the Sites of Community Importance on the area of pomorskie voivodeship. The biggest natural value are gatherings of transition mires' mosses around the lakes, natural coniferous woods and boggy Sphagnum birch woods. The refuge is located on the area of "Jeziorka Chosnickie" nature reserve. The area is situated on the border of sander and moraine. There is a seven water reservoirs' complex of dystrophic character. The biggest threats for the nature of the refuge is drainage and drying of the peatbogs' sites. more »
