Dolina Gornej Leby is an extremely picturesque area. Apart from beautiful landscapes we can also find here habitats of incredible natural value. The area is overgrown with vast beech forests and oak-hornbeam forests. Here one can come across many boreal and mountain relict species. The Leba river is rich in trout and grayling. The refuge encompasses upper part of the Leba river, between Porzecze and Kozyczkowe. It is located within Pojezierze Kaszubskie (the Kashubian Lakeland) which is a part of Pojezierze Wschodniopomorskie (the Eastern-Pomeranian Lakeland). more »
