Dabrowy Obrzyckie refuge, bordering with the valley of Warta river from the north, is an area of unique value because of acidophilous oak woods, which cover half of the area, and sub-continental steppe oak forests - habitats of priority importance to the protection of the European nature. Dabrowy Obrzyckie is a Site Of Community Importance within Natura 2000 European network. Landscape of Dabrowy Obrzyckie refuge is dominated by forests which cover over 90% of the area.
