Kolo Grobli refuge encompasses two separated parts - Kolo reserve in Niepolomnicka Forest and Wislisko Kobyle reserve. Both reserves protect preserved parts of Vistula's ox bows with alluvial forests which are breeding ground of many species of birds. The refuge is the Site of Community Importance. The reserve is located in the eastern part of malopolskie voivodeship, wielicki county, Niepolomnice commune, near Zabierzow Bochenski place. It is physiographical part of Krakow Foothills.
