How to get to Zalew Szczecinski?
The area encompasses Polish part of Zalew Szczecinski together with low coasts which remain under influence of its waters. The refuge lies in West-Pomeranian voivodeship and stretches from area of Police in the south to Swinoujscie in the north. Zalew Szczecinski is an important reservoir on European trails and routes of birds' passages. It is also a reservoir with good conditions for yachting.

By car
We can get to Zalew Szczecinski driving towards Szczecin. From there we can take road no.3 to Swinoujscie through Wolin or choose regional roads towards Police, Trzebiez and Nowe Warpno.

By train
We can easily reach Szczecin and Swinoujscie by train.

Every year touristic-sport event Ekstremalny Rajd Orla Bielika (the Extreme White-Tailed Eagle Hike) is organized here. It is a combination of a hike by trails of Wolinski Park Narodowy, a biking race and a canoe trip down canals and floodplains of the Stara Swina river and the Wicko Wielkie lake. Special parts require diving, sliding down a rope and rowing a pontoon.
