Ujscie Wisly - the map
Mouth of the biggest Polish river – Vistula is located in the southernmost part of the Gulf of Gdansk, east of the city of Gdansk, between two villages – Swibno and Mikoszewo.

From Gdansk:

  • by car – direction Krynica Morska;
  • by city bus nr 112 running to Swibno;
  • by long-distance bus (PKS) to Mikoszewo.

Do not forget to take binoculars!
From Elblag:

  • by car – in Nowy Dwor Gdanski turn towards Stegna, and continue to Mikoszewo, where a ferry Mikoszeow-Swibno runs on Vistula river from May to October.

The nature reserve "Mewia Lacha" is located on both banks of the river in the estuary’s vicinity. The main aim of the reserve is to protect breeding areas for birds dependent on beach habitat, feeding areas for migrant birds (waders, gulls and ducks), as well as important wintering sites for birds of north-east Europe and Asia (ducks and sawbills).
