How to get to Ujscie Odry and Zalew Szczecinski?
The easiest way to reach the refuge is either from the east, taking road no. 3 which runs from Szczecin to Swinoujscie, or from the west, taking the road from Szczecin to Nowe Warpno. It is possible to walk through coastal parts of the refuge, it is also worth taking a cruise on the lagoon.

Tourist attractions in the area:

  • Uroczysko Swieta Reserve - marsh birchwood with rich stands of royal fern, sweet gale and honeysuckle,
  • Wilcze Uroczysko Reserve - alder and riverine forests, stands of royal fern,
  • Czarnocin Reserve - low peatbog and alder-birch forest,
  • Jezioro Swidwie Reserve - refuge of water birds, resting place for migrating birds,
  • Wolin National Park - a few dozen meter high seashore cliffs, Pomeranian beachwood, the estuary of Swina river, empty beaches,
  • Goleniow - St Catherina's gothic church from the 15/16th century, remains of gothic town walls: Brama Wolinska (the Wolin Gate) from the 15th century, Wieza Mennicza (the Mint Tower), Baszta Prochowa (the Gunpowder Tower); chess-style garner from the 18th century; it is recommended to follow signs of the sightseeing trail starting by Brama Wolinska,
  • Wolin: market with neogothic town hall and St Nicholas' church, the Regional Museum, Wzgorze Wisielcow (the Hangmen's Hill) - archeological stand, barrows, view on the town and Zalew Szczecinski,
  • Szczecin: St Jacob cathedral from the 13th century, the city hall, Pomeranian Princes' Castle,  Waly Chrobrego (the Chrobry's Embankments) - elegant avenue of Szczecin, St Peter and St Paul's gothic church, gothic city walls, historical tenement; there is a sightseeing trial marked with red straps on pavements,
  • Nowe Warpno: late-gothic church from the 15th century, baroque town hall with chess-style construction from the end of 17th century.
