Slowinski National Park lies in the central part of the Polish coast, between Leba and Rowy (Pomorskie Voivodeship). It is known for its migrating dunes. The largest dune area is about 500 ha big. The dunes reach the height of over 30 m a.s.l. and, blown by the wind, move with a speed of 3-10 m per year.
