Within the borders of the site old river beds of Piasnica surrounded by diverse mosaic of forest (mostly birch-oak forests) and non-forest vegetation are situated. There are also patches of willow thickets and bog myrtle thickets. On the remaining area mixed birch-oak forests dominate.
Habitat types existing within the site:
The area includes the Piasnickie Laki nature reserve (56.23 ha; 1959) in the Nadmorski Landscape Park (18804 ha; 1979). The site is a part of the Promotional Forest Complex of Lasy Oliwsko-Dar¿lubskie (43 172 ha).
