How to get to Ostoja Slowinska?
The refuge lies in the central part of Polish coast, in Pomeranian voivodship, between Leba and Rowy. Among the characteristic elements of the landscape are seaside lakes, marshes, meadows and peat bogs, seaside woods, and most of all migrating dunes.

Leba can be reached by car by road E28 from Szczecin or Gdansk and Gdynia. Taking this road we have to turn in Lebork towards Leba.

By bus
Leba has good bus connection with neighbouring places. You can also get to Leba by train.

Other places in the area, which are worth visiting:

  • migrating dunes, including the highest dune in Poland - Fora Lacka (40 m asl, speed of moving: 3,5-10 meters a year),
  • the Muzeum Wsi Slowinskiej (the Museum of Slowinska Villages) in Kluki,
  • a lighthouse in Czolpino; "Latarnia" nature trail,
  • Rowokol - the holy mountain of the Kashubians; a viewing platform on the top of the mountain; "Rowokol" nature trail,
  • an old German range dating back to World War II on Mierzeja Lebska near Rabka, nuclear weapon was tested here, it used to be a work place of a famous German scientist Wernher von Braun,
  • specialist nature trails in Klucki Las (the Kluki Forest) and Obwod Ochronny Zarnowiska (the Zarnowiska Protected Zone).
