Dolina Krapieli is a site of community importance. The refuge encompasses a picturesque river valley of typically mountain character. Bottom and slopes of the valley are overgrown with forests of diverse age structure. Natural character of forest communities is emphasized by relatively large amount of dead wood in the ecosystem. On this relatively small area there occurs large diversity of habitats, including the non-forest communities, which leads to opulence of flora and fauna. more »
The refuge can be easily reached from Stargard Szczecinski. You have to leave the town by road no.10 towards Bydgoszcz and after a few kilometers you get to a border of the refuge. more »
