The Kampinos National Park is located north-west from Warsaw within the borders of Kampinos forest. It has been created in 1959 on the area of 38 544 ha.
A nature reserve „Studnica” is located in the western part of Wieruszowska plateau. It is a ravine covered by the pine-oak-spruce mixed primeval forest. Many of the trees growing there are over 150 years old and reach the height of 40 meters.
