Kampinos Primeval Forest is one of the biggest forest complexes of Central Polish Lowlands. It is characterized by a great diversity of forest assemblies with many rare and protected species of plants and animals. In order to protect the environmental, historic and cultural values of forest Kampinos National Park has been established. The primeval forest of Kampinos is located in the icemarginal valley of the Vistula river in the western part Warsaw valley.
