There should not be problem to find the refuge because it is situated in Tomaszow Mazowiecki city (by its south border). Tomaszow is located near the Katowice-Warsaw road, it is easy to get here by coach of train. To get to the vicinity of the refuge you can go by bus no. 1 and 10 from coach and train stations.

The Centre of Bisons' Breedingin Ksiaze near Smardzewice village: the educational path leads to the centre from Forest Inspectorate; you can admire basins from view platform,
Spalski Lanscape Park: picturesque Pilica valley together with wood areas nearby, and parts of old tree-stands (200-year-old pines, 160-260-year-old oaks),
Sulejowski Landscape Park: Pilica valley with a good preserve flora and Sulejowski Lagoon (beaches, baths, rental of water equipment),
Czarny Lug Reserve: high peatbog with Rannoch-rush's stand,
Jelen Reserve: wood of many species dominated by firs,
Inowlodz: Romanian church of Saint Idzi from the end of 11th century, classic synagogue from 19th century and ruins of Kazimierz Wielki castle from the middle of 14th century,
