Some advice
How to get to Grady Odrzanskie?
There is a road no. 94 from Opole to Wroclaw city and railway track Opole-Brzeg-Wroclaw which run along the whole area of Grady Odrzanskie. There is good coach connection to most of the places. You can find accommodation for the night in the whole area of the refuge. Grady Odrzanskie give grate opporunity to practice bicycle tourism.

The best season to go to forests of Grady Odrzanskie is spring and summer (especially in May, when most of birds sing), But you must remember that in this period you can not get no closer than 0,5 km to the nests of White-tailed eagle, kite bird and Black storck.

Anyone who is more sensitive to mosquitos' buzzing should remember that in wet areas, over the river or in woods, these insects apear in first warm days of May, and disapear not before September.
The best period to visit meadows over the river are warm days in May, however birds' migrations (March-May, August-October) can give many unforgetable feelings.

The other touristic attraction is Grodzisko Ryczynskie, nature and archaeological reserve located in woods (about 6 km to the east from Olawa city in direction to Szydlowice village) with two Slavonic burg cities from 10th-13th century (Boleslaw Krzywousty times) which where effective defense against German army heading to the south. Ryczyn was rebuilt after the devastation in 11th century and in 12th and 13th century as the castellany was one of the most important burg city in Silesia.
