How to get to Dolina Zwolenki?
Apart from clear fresh air and natural environment there are many historic sites in the Valley of Zwolenka River. Major town of the region is Zwolen. Nearby village of Czarnolas has been praised by one of the greatest Polish poets - Jan Kochanowski.

Going to Zwolen by car

  • From the north take road no 79 from Gora Kalwaria via Kozienice, road 79 going via Zwolen and further south to Lipsko, Ozarow and Sandomierz.
  • From the west its easiest to take road no 12 from Radom, and from the east Road Lublin - Pulawy.

Going by bus and train

If you plan to take a train - go to Radom. Traveling by bus you may get to Zwolen.

Places worth seeing in Zwoleñ?

  • Church of the Exaltation of the Cross, with Saint Francis Chapel and gravestones of the Kochanowski Family;
  • Monument of the Unknown Soldier, inside there is soil from the battlefield near Laski;
  • Monument of Jan Kochanowski with his daughter Urszula, located in the square of Public Grammar School by the name of Jan Kochanowski;
  • The Wall of Death, where in 1944 the Nazis performed public executions.

Czarnolas, place where Jan Kochanowski great Renaissance poet lived. From 1961 there is the museum of the poet.
