How to get to Dolina Srodkowej Warty?

There is big Konin city in the central part of the refuge - this is the way to get to Dolina Srodkowej Warty. Also Turek and Kolo cities are worth seeing because of their well-developed tourist infrastructure. There are scattered many agrotouristic possessions.

The area of the refuge is cut by higway A2, but going by national road to Konin, and then by local roads is the easiest way to get to the refuge.

Tuoristic atractions in the area:

castles in Kolo, Wyszyn, Pyzdry,
beautifully situated monastery comlex in Lad,
bishop's palace in Ciazen (today Dom Pracy Tworczej - eng. House of Creative Work).

The Kampinos National Park

The Kampinos National Park is located north-west from Warsaw within the borders of Kampinos forest. It has been created in 1959 on the area of 38 544 ha.

In order to protect the nature in the Kampinoski Primeval Forest elk, beaver and lynx have been reintroduced to their habitats.
