Dabrowy Krotoszynskie refuge constitutes three complexes of natural, diverse luminous oak forests with old trees (sesile and penduculate oak, European hornbeam, common hazel) fragmentary mixed with new pine's and other trees' plantations. The main goal of refuge existance is the protection of dense complex of oak forests the biggest in Europe. Dabroowy Krotoszynskie are the Site of Community Importance within Natura 2000 European Network. Dabrowy Krotoszynskie are located on borderlands of two counties: krotoszynski and ostrowski, in south part of wielkopolskie voivodeship. They encompass area of 37835.8 ha.
