Baranie Gory Site of Community Importance was established to protect the landscape of varied relief with rich tree stands. Important from the European point of view are steppe woods with Quercus spp., dominating gathering of vegetation here. It occupies over the half of the refuge's area. The refuge is located in northern west part of Mazowiecka Lowland, on the area of historical Zawkrzenska Land. Baranie Gory refuge is located in norther-west part of voivodeship, about 20 km to the west from Mlawa, in Lipowiec Koscielny commune. more »
