Stawy Przemkowskie is a special protection area, which includes two fish-pond complexes of 769 and 179 ha, fragments of ash Ulmus and alder Alnus carrs in their surroundings and extensively used wet meadows with clumps of willow Salix scrubs. The ponds, although they are artificial water reservoirs, have great natural value. They are home for many rare plant and animal species, mostly birds. The refuge is located on the border of Lower Silesia voivodeship and Lubuskie voivodeship.
