Ostoja Magurska
Gentle hills, numerous landslides and picturesque valley of Wisloka river make a characteristic landscape of Beskid Niski and Ostoja Magurska. Forests untouched by civilization are home to numerous animal and plant species. Moreover, the region is famous for its rich history and numerous monuments. The site is situated in the central part of the Beskid Niski Mountains, in the upper part of the Wisloka River. It comprises the Magura Watkowska range in the north (Watkowa 847 m, Kornuty 830 m a.s.l.) and the Pasmo Graniczne range on state border between Poland and Slovakia.
