There is characteristic vertical zonation of the vegetation on Babia Gora which is connected with the climate zones.

On lower mountain forest zone (700 - 1150 m a.s.l.) there is moderately cool climate, on the upper mountain forest zone (to 1360 m a.s.l.) the climate is cool. In grass vegetation zone (to 1650 m a.s.l.) the climate is moderately cold.

Magurski National Park

Magurski National Park (Magirslo Parl Narodowy) is located in the South-East of Poland, by the border with Slovakia, on the boundary of two Voivodships - Lesser Poland and Subcarpathian.

Turbacz is the highest peak in the Gorce range, it reaches 1310m above the sea level. It used to be called Niedzwiedz and Kluczki.
