The most beautiful cave in Maly Beskid (The Little Beskids) is Komoniecki's Cave. It was opened for tourists in 1983, though mentioned for the first time in 1704 by village-mayor of Zywiec, Andrzej Komoniecki.
The cave is a big chamber of 115 m
2. It has a comfortable entrance: 16 m wide, 2 m high, so you can visit it without a torch. Directly over the entrance made of rocky plate runs a little brook, which in winter forms unusual ice shapes.
There is a picturesque waterfall about 50 m below the cave along the Dusica stream. It is 4 m wide and 5 m high. This is the biggest waterfall in the Little Beskids.
The cave is located in the Beskid Maly Lanscape Park, in Zasolskie mountains.
