Did you know that...

The most beautiful cave in Maly Beskid (The Little Beskids) is Komoniecki's Cave. It was opened for tourists in 1983, though mentioned for the first time in 1704 by village-mayor of Zywiec, Andrzej Komoniecki.

The cave is a big chamber of 115 m². It has a comfortable entrance: 16 m wide, 2 m high, so you can visit it without a torch. Directly over the entrance made of rocky plate runs a little brook, which in winter forms unusual ice shapes.

There is a picturesque waterfall about 50 m below the cave along the Dusica stream. It is 4 m wide and 5 m high. This is the biggest waterfall in the Little Beskids.

The cave is located in the Beskid Maly Lanscape Park, in Zasolskie mountains.
