Among the monotonous landscape of Cieszkowskie Plateau, driving from Zakliczyn towards Nowy Sacz, past Grodek nad Dunajcem you shall see the panorama of a forested hill on your right hand side. This is Bukowiec (495 m asl) which together with the adjacent parts of Ciezkowicko-Roznowski Landscape Park create the Natura 2000 site of community importance "Diable Skaly". The site has been created in order to protect valuable groups of rock forms (towers, mushrooms, walls, thresholds, ledges, blocks), which exist in the area. more »

Magurski National Park (Magirslo Parl Narodowy) is located in the South-East of Poland, by the border with Slovakia, on the boundary of two Voivodships - Lesser Poland and Subcarpathian.
Gorczanski National Park occupies the area of 7030 ha, including 6591 ha of forests. The area of 16 647 ha is the park's protection zone. Over 3 611 ha of the Gorczanski National Park are under strict protection. The park was established in 1981.
