Some advice
How to get to Diable Skaly refuge?
Diable Skaly reserve is located near the village of Bukowiec. You can get there turning left from the road no 977 (Grybow-Ciezkowice), or turning right from road no 975 from Dabrowa, via Grodek nad Dunajcem towards Zakliczyn. However, if you want to avoid getting lost among country roads which are marked only on some maps, you may always travel to Bukowiec by bus from Nowy Sacz. The trip takes about 50 minutes.

From Bukowiec to the nature reserve you have to walk. Caves within the site are not open to the public, yet Ciezkowicko-Roznowski Landscape Park is a real treat for hikers and cyclists.

There is a legend saying that Arians, also called "Polish Brothers", used to hide in the reserve. Two springs located near the reserve "Zdrowa Wodn" and "Gosccowa Wodn" are said to have served as a baptismal font for the persecuted Arians.

Apart from the natural values the area also boats some historic monuments, among them the Lemko Orthodox Chuch from 1805 in Bukowiec.
