Pieniny National Park is one of most picturesque national parks in Poland. The Park's area is 2,346 ha. Forests cover 1,665 ha - 750 ha are placed under a strict protection.

Waterfalls and rising springs are very often found and they are one of the Park attractions. The best known waterfall is Wodogrzmoty Mickiewicza, on the trail to Morskie Oko Pond. The The largest is Wielka Siklawa (70 m).
