By car

• from the east: by road no.26 Przemysl - Sanok - Krosno - Biecz - Gorlice - Grybow - Nowy Sacz -Stary Sacz,
• from the west: by road no.26 from Wadowice, Sucha Beskidzka, Rabka, Limanowa,
• from thr north: from Krakow to Brzesko by road no.4 (E40), by road no.75 from Brzesko to Nowy Sacz, then to Stary Sacz and Kroscienko.

By train or bus
The best route from Krakow to Pieniny is by train to Nowy Sacz, from which there are coach connections (to Muszyna, Kroscienko and Szczawnica) as well as train connections (although it is much more convenient to go by bus since journey by train is much longer and you have

Places worth seeing in Pieniny: castles in Czorsztyn and Niedzica; Czorsztyn reservoir; Szczawnica together with nearby Kroscienko (a place famous for delicious ice-creams and waffles); picturesque Homole ravine and equally beautiful Sobczanski ravine; Czerwony Klasztor (Red Monastery) on Slovakian side.

Dunajec rafting trip
Dunajec rafting trip begins at the rafters' harbour in Sromowce-Katy. There is a car park, an exhibition pavilion of Pieniny National Park, tourist information point, souvenir kiosk, restaurant and ticket office.

There are two destination harbours:

1. Szczawnica - length of the route about 18 km, time of the rafting trip about 2 h. 15 min.
2. Kroscienko - length of the route about 23 km, time of the rafting trip about 2 h. 45 min.
