Landscapes of Bieszczady Mountains

Bieszczady is the Polish name of the western part of what the Polish call Eastern Beskids (Beskidy Wschodnie). It is a part of the Carpathians. The mountain range is situated between the Łupków Pass (640 m) and the Vyshkovskyi Pass (933 m). The highest peak of Bieszczady is Mt. Pikuy (1405 m) in Ukraine. Bieszczady National Park

Bieszczady National Park is the third largest national park in Poland. It is located in the far south-east, in Podkarpackie Voivodeship, at the borders with the Slovak Republic and Ukraine.

Almost the whole range of Bieszczady is protected within Bieszczady National Park and two landscape parks: Cisniansko-Wetlinski and the Valley of River San.
