National park, landscape park, nature reserve, monument of nature, ecological land - these are main forms of nature conservation according to Polish law. It is obvious however, that neither a park and a reserve, nor the legal basis which they were established upon can protect the natural environment. These are people, who either conserve nature within the park’s borders or damage it. Soon, a new form of nature conservation shall be introduced in Poland - NATURA 2000 areas.  more »
