Birds
Two Sea Eagles

Sea Eagles are also known as White-tailed Eagles or Ernes. They are large birds of prey in the Accipitridae family. They breed in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, Iceland, Grenland and northern Asia.

Unfortunately there aren’t many Sea Eagles in Poland, as their population in our country stands at only 450 – 500 pairs. Ernes most can be seen in Northern and Western parts of Poland.

It is easy to recognise this bird by its short singing composed of quickly repeated tones ended up with high sound. It is not hard to see it then, because he shows off on tops of trees.
Their breeding habitat is bogs, marshes and wet meadows with short vegetation in northern Europe and Russia. Ruff are migratory, wintering in southern and western Europe, Africa and India.
This not very numerous in Poland bird has a very poor-coloured plumage. However it raises curiocity as one of uncommon species of tits.
