Druzno Lake is a shallow, nutrient-rich lake (up to 1.5 m deep) surrounded by extensive swamp-forest. There is a significant daily fluctuation in water-level, caused by wind-related water-level fluctuation. There is a rich vegetation of floating (Nymphaea) and submerged (Potamogeton) plants, as well as extensive reedbeds. Alder occurs along marshy shores. Jezioro Druzno is an important site for bird conservation
The Beka nature reserve was established in 1988 on 193.01 ha. It is situated in the county of Puck in the eastern part of the Cassubian seashore within Nadmorski Landscape Park. It covers some area between Osłonino, Mrzezino and Rewa embracing a part of ancient riverbed and present estuary of the River Reda.
