Coloured lakes (Purple, Blue and Emerald) created in headings of closed mine are one of the main attractions of Rudawski Landscape Park. The Park was established in 1989 and covers 8,8 thousand ha on the Rudawy Janowickie area. Unique forest complexes, meadows, numerous groups of rock are protected within the Park.
It is located 50 km from the Wroclaw city. The Sleza Mountain Massif - lonely on the Wroclaw plain - is visible almost from every place in the Lower Silesia when the weather is good. The richness of the biotic and abiotic nature, old culitc sculptures, the magic of the Saint Mountain are the goal of many tourists' trips.
