920 species of vascular plants have been found in the valley of Biebrza from among them 67 are legaly protected in Poland.

45 from among them are classified as endangered species, among them: kosaciec bezlistny (Iris aphylla), szachownica kostkowata (Fritillaria meleagris), fiolek torfowy (Viola epipsila), welnianeczka alpejska – alpine bulrush (Scirpus hudsonianus ) and wierzba borowkolistna – swamp willow (Salix myrtilloides).
